Forget about Mulled Wine/Cider, Mulled Kombucha is where it is at!

This time of year I am sure you will be longing for a warming drink considering the temperatures are fast approaching zero degrees…. brrrr! If you are not interested in drinking alcohol or trying to reduce your intake where do you turn? We have the answer for you…. Mulled Kombucha! It’s like a hug in a mug!

Ingredients
1 bottle of ginger and lemon kombucha
1 cinnamon stick 
1 star anise
3 peppercorns
4 cloves
Slices of lemon to garnish.

1) Pour the kombucha into a saucepan. Add the cinnamon stick, star anise, cloves and peppercorns. Heat very gently until simmering, then turn off the heat.

2) Fish out the whole spices and peppercorns with a spoon, then Ladle into mug or heatproof glass and serve with a slice of lemon.
