Chocolate Bark

This is such a fun and versatile way to enjoy chocolate. As you can include loads of different toppings. They also make great little gifts.

For this one I made my own chocolate. You can buy kits from the lovely Elements for Life.

Alternatively you can purchase ready made chocolate if you prefer. I would suggest making your own though as you can control the ingredients.

Ingredients

90g of cocao butter
60g of raw cacao
Sweetner of choice (2 tbsp) - I used maple syrup
Topings - let your creativity run wild! I used coffee beans from Dusty Ape (www.https://dustyape.com/), cashew nuts, candied fruit, raisins, pumpkin seeds.

Method

1. Using a bain-marie heat up cocoa butter or ready made chocolate.
2. If making your own chocolate once the cocao butter is melted turn off the heat and add raw cacao plus sweetener and mix thoroughly. If using ready made chocolate turn off the heat once melted
3. Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper and pour chocolate into the tray.
4. Get decorating!
5. Place in the freezer for 20 mins to set.
6. Remove and break or cut into pieces and enjoy!

Simple and delicious with so many different variations to choose from!
